Nikolaos Kalantzis is Senior Examiner and Laboratory Manager at Chartoularios Laboratory of Questioned Documents Studies P.C. (Piraeus/Greece).

He is BSc Physics, MFSSoc, FSSocDip, PgD Forensic Science, MSc Questioned Documents.

He also is Research Fellow Staffordshire University, Faculty of Science (Stoke-on-Trent, U.K.).

Nikolaos Kalantzis is Registered Expert at the International Criminal Court Registry in the Hague. Also is Registered expert at the Nederlands Register Gerechtelijk Deskundigen (NRGD - The Netherlands Register of Court Experts) and Registered Expert at the Civil & Criminal Courts of Athens & Piraeus.

He is member of some famous professional international associations:

  • Professional Member of the Chartered Society of Forensic Science (CSoFS), UK;
  • Corresponding Member of the American Society of Questioned Document Examiners (ASQDE);
  • Member of the Hellenic Association of Physicists;
  • President of the Scientific Committee & Full member (founding) of the Hellenic Association of Forensic Sciences;
  • Member of the International Forensic Science Council of Dubai (UAE).

In 2023 he received the Peter V. Tytell award.
